I've driven my dad's plenty, and have some strong things to say about it.

Knock yourself out. No one should be telling you no.

The Temple of VTEC says YES! What trim level is it btw? I love how they made the Fit somewhat upscale with leather options and a sunroof this time around.

Well, mrs Aya has the first gen Honda Fit and it's kinda terrible. IS the 2015 is any better?
*Although in my mind the first Fit is pretty.

I have one next week, so I'd be curious to have a second opinion from a total stranger on Oppo.
What trim/transmission?

EX with the 7-speed semi-auto.

It's an EX w/out navi.

The third get certainly isn't a bad-looking car.

7-speed semi-auto?
Where do you live? North America only have the 6-speed manual or the CVT.

CVT, but I have 7 speeds to play with when I use the paddle shifters.

Oooh okay, so it simulates 7 gears... I thought they would only do 6.
Neat.
Keep us posted with that full review!

I want a review. I really like it, I don't want it to be bad :(

I say do it! as far as little subcompact runabouts go, the Fit has a reputation for being at least sorta kinda fun to drive.

Oh, it was a blast driving it through winding Oregon mountain passes.!

Is it slow as fuck? Because my friend's 2nd gen is, and both of us feel like it understeers way more than my parents' Mazda3

I liked it, but it was way too practical for me. I went with a Fiat 500....also, i thought that it was a little overpriced for what it was.

I've driven some good roads in Southern Oregon, around Ashland, as well as some good ones up around the gorge.

Yeah NW Oregon is where all the good roads are. OR26 is great.

Yes, I would totally read your review of the Fit.

looks beautiful, I wish I still lived in Portland. Up here in Seattle, I have to drive for hours just to find a decent road. I'm a huge fan of going east on 84 to the bridge of the gods, into Washington and then taking wind river road, to curly creek road and then on to wa nf25.

Yes I'd love to here your thoughts on it. I'm actually considering a Manual Version for myself.

Glad the Fit is *finally* available with a sunroof!

My wife has a first generation Fit, bought new, trouble free, fairly agile and fun to drive, the interior is cheap, and it makes funny noises sometimes (mostly things sloshing around, and in the dash area, no indication of drivetrain/mechanical maladies), but it is a cool little car that hauls a lot of stuff for its size, mid 30s for MPG on the highway, but really more of an urban skate than a highway cruiser, but I wouldn't call it awful. I am also intrigued by the newer model with more bells and whistles and slightly more power.
